LEBEN IST GUT

Yesterday was the craziest Sunday I have ever experienced in my life!!  We committed our family from Africa (Emeka's) to come to church as a family on Sunday but because of buses and transportation reasons we had to go and pick them up and take them back.  Just imagine one African woman with 5 children (all under 13) on a bus, U-Bahn, and train to get to church which took about an hour or so..  The missionaries were a little stressed as well!!! But it was all worth it because they loved church and want to come again next week!!  Not only that but we had 12 new people in church yesterday!! That is unheard of and our ward didn't know how to handle all of them at once because it felt like Africa came and conquered Deutschland haha.  But it was wonderful :)  The biggest miracle that happened this week was Merhawi.  He comes from Ethiopia, Africa.  He has been searching all of his life for something that ends the hunger of his soul.  Those were his exact words.  Wow did he find the right people.  While I was on my split with Sister Bognar, we ended up talking to him and asking him if he wanted to learn more and he said yes!!  I never knew he would turn out to be such a faithful reader in the Book of Mormon.  He said that he truly is searching to see if it is from God.  And I know that if people truly have a humble heart and a desire to know Heavenly Father will tell them their answer.  Even when people that aren't searching for the truth feel the love of God from it.  Anyways,  Merhawi came to church, loved it, and has come to activities left and right and wants to tell his "colleages" about it :)  There are people everywhere that have been searching for truth in the world, no matter where you are, no matter who you talk to they have been prepared by the Lord in one way or another!!  Missionary work is the best!!!!  And it truly is special for me to see him grow in his faith because I saw him on the street waiting for a bus, and because the Spirit told me to talk to him, he is now reading the most precious books I hold dear to my heart.  Leben ist gut :)
